La escuela del 2018

 

¿Cómo te gustaría que fuera la escuela del 2018?

Para responder a esta pregunta antes creo que deberíamos reflexionar sobre la escuela actual y sobre todo en el elemento más importante de todos: nuestros alumnos. Entre de las características generales de nuestros alumnos podríamos destacar las siguientes:

• No les fascinan los libros
• Su contexto cultural inmediato es el ordenador, los video juegos, los audio mp3, los videos y  por supuesto los teléfonos móviles.
• Suelen ser jóvenes bastante activos que prefieren las actividades prácticas a las teóricas.

“Cualquier contexto de enseñanza que implique silencio, concentración y atención continuada al profesor que sigue escribiendo su lección en la pizarra tradicional están condenados al fracaso” citando a un buen profesor mío. Cómo podemos ayudar a nuestros alumnos es la gran pregunta de hoy día en educación.

Tratando de responder esta pregunta, creo que en la escuela del futuro deberíamos conservar un enfoque en el que todos los alumnos estén presentes e incluidos en el aula, en la que el estudiante fuera el centro del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje, siendo el profesor un consejero, un guía, mediador en conflictos y a veces incluso un mero aprendiz también. El  profesor y sus alumnos retomarían el protagonismo en el aula potenciado por las nuevas herramientas on-line a su disposición.
